Measure your child's progress and check as they go along in their learning! They will soon be ready to tackle the KS2 SATs tests in maths.

25 most popular KS2 SATs papers and revision guides – according to our readers

Looking to buy great KS2 resources to help you support your child as they revise for their KS2 test this year?

The KS2 SATs start in May and it is now one of the most pressing times of the year for most parents as they would desperately like to support their children the best that they can. You might want to get started with some revision.

You would perhaps like to know what the most popular revision books and KS2 SATs papers are at the moment.

We have many free past SATs papers available in maths, Science and English on this website but you might want your child to practise beyond using the official papers provided. So today I spent some time putting together a ranked informative list for you, hoping that it might be helpful to those wishing to buy new KS2 SATs papers and revision guides or books for their children. Here are the 25 most popular ones voted by our readers.

    1. Maths (Level 3-5) (Practice Papers National Tests)
    2. Maths Level 6 (Practice Papers National Tests)
    3. Reading (Level 3-5) (Practice Papers National Tests)
    4. KS2 Maths SATs Practice Papers – Set 1
    5. Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Levels 3-5 (Practice Papers National Tests)
    6. KS2 Maths SATs Practice Papers – Set 2
    7. KS2 English SATs Practice Papers – Set 1
    8. Grammar,Punctuation and Spelling Test Level 6 (Practice Papers National Tests)
    9. KS2 English SATs Practice Papers – Set 2
    10. Achieve Level 6 Mathematics Practice Questions Pupil Book [Single copy]

From these results, we can see that while two/three years ago the Revise and Shine books were the most popular items bought by our readers, they have now been advanced by updated versions of SATs papers that take into account the 2013 and 2014 changes in the KS2 SATs tests. We also notice that our readers have largely favoured the Scholastic brand above all the other past papers’ brands and before the CGP.

We hope you find this best seller list informative as you consider future purchases. Please leave us your thoughts in the comment box below as to which one you have opted for and how they have been helpful to your child.

why don’t you do 2014 sats by monday 12th may 2014

    admin says May 11, 2014

Official 2014 sats papers are not available to anyone before the test for security reasons and for the credibility of the tests. However if you need test papers for your child to revise and practise what will be expected in the 2014 test, you will probably find this article useful. It has a list of the most popular KS2 SATs papers available from private companies.

Congratulations on finishing with the English! I am happy to know that this site helped you. Unfortunately the test papers will only be available to the public after all tests will be officially and externally marked and submitted to your school. This will be done at the beginning of July 2014. At the moment, you might want to forget this test which is now over and focus on the other tests (maths KS2 tests) that you have this week. Good luck with them and I am sure that you will do your best!
